  • Camping at Liepnitzsee

    Camping at Liepnitzsee

    We chose the hottest weekend of the year to go on a bike camping trip to Liepnitzsee, a small lake north of Berlin. Heat exhaustion and bike tire problems did not manage to spoil a great weekend out. The water was amazing and so was the company 🙂

    Hiking in Grünewald

    I went for a beautiful sunny day of hiking in Grünewald, a small forest within the Berlin city limits. The beautiful sun soon paved way for a beautiful torrential downpour ;

  • Leipzig city

    Anna, Hanna, Teresa and myself made a day trip from Berlin to the nearby city of Leipzig. There are lots of beautiful buildings and parks in the city and is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

    Cycling to Bernau

    I went on a cycle tour to Bernau today. We took an awesome route on super smooth roads. The total distance was 110 km, so I definitely feel tired now 🙂 I do still have a little pep left in my step though, so I’m apparently in better shape than I thought 🙂

    Nikolaikirche in Leipzig

    This is Nikolaikirche in Leipzig, an old church in the city of Leipzig. We passed by it on a walking tour of the city. The church was built around 1165 and was a site frequently performed at by the famous composer Johann Sebastian Bach in the 1700’s.

  • Baumblütenfest

    A group of us headed by bike to Werder, a small town south of Berlin to the Baumblütenfest (blossom festival) there. We got to try black current, rhubarb wines 🙂
