  • Skinniest street eva!

The guidebook I read whilst in Brasov, Romania said that Strada sforii is the skinniest street in Europe, so I went to pay it a visit. I think “street” is a loose term as I have no idea what you would be driving down it and it has a roof. It also turns out it isn’t the skinniest street in Europe after all as there are two others which are skinnier.

    Train stations Translyvanian style

I was warned not to attempt using the Romanian train system. I’m glad I ignored that advice, as despite their rustic exteriors and being kinda slow, the train system is actually really pleasant and gives you a great chance to admire the beautiful scenery across the countryside.

  • MitoQ

Random fact for the day. I was the first person to ever synthesise the drug used in this product back in 2003 …Β http://www.mitoq.com/

Admittedly I only changed the bromide anion to the methanesulfonate used in the final product, but still cool none the less πŸ™‚ We were originally trying to create treatments for neurological disorders, then heart problems and I guess someone later on decided it was much better for use as a skin cream :/

  • Slottsparken closed

The Norwegians decided to close down their biggest tourist attraction so that they could put in some new drains. I no longer find this sort of thing odd ..

How do you entertain yourself on a beautiful sunny day in Norway? You head to the park and lap up the sun with the locals. I took the following photo beside the royal palace in Oslo, a few minutes walk from my apartment. Raspberries, yoghourt and a book were my entertainment for the afternoon πŸ™‚
