Norwegian language homework
14 setninger med disse adverbene … opp, hjemme, ned, inne, ut, oppe, inn, hit, hjem, dit, her, inne, der, ute.
I’m not sure how to use “inne” in a sentence at this stage.
- Jeg skal går opp gate til hjem
- Vi sitter ned parken
- Jeg skal ut i morgen
- Kom hit!
- Jeg sitter på stol i hjemme
- Hva er dit?
- Hun er ikke her
- Han skal går der
- Vi skal går ute med to venner
Things I needed to learn to do this.
opp = up (direction); oppe = upstairs
ut = out; ute = outside
hjem = when you are not at home
hjemme = when you are at home -
Public urination in Norway
I’ve seen some weird shit in my travels around the world, but close to the top has to be the public urination in Norway. I always assumed that going to the toilet in public was something relegated to third world countries, but it seems that it is totally acceptable in Norway! They even have little stall thingies kicking about so you can just flop your wang out and take a slash in the middle of the city. I don’t think they poo in these things, but I didn’t stick around to find out.
The following photo was taken in the Oslo city center at the finishing line for the Oslo Marathon.

Thanks to Yelitza Magarita for taking the photo.
